Our Story

Agape Day Living LLC is a veteran-owned adult day care center located in Augusta, GA. Our journey began over 20 years ago with a deep commitment to serving our community with compassion and excellence. We believe in providing a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our clients. Our dedicated team of professionals is here to ensure that your loved ones receive the highest quality of care.

Our story spans over 30 years of dedication to caring for our own parents. From this, a desire to love and care for the elderly community ignited a call for a lifelong journey. This understanding was further enriched by our personal experiences as we willingly opened our home to care for numerous other elderly family members. Through this journey, we encountered both the joys and challenges of caregiving, gaining invaluable insight into the complexities of aging and the responsibilities it entails.

In 2006, fueled by a shared dream, we established Agape Living Personal Care Home. For over 17 years, it served as a sanctuary where residents received not only assistance but also genuine love and support, fostering a sense of family and belonging. However, as the landscape of care evolved, so did our mission. Recognizing the growing need for comprehensive daycare services, we transitioned our efforts to establish Agape Day Living, a nurturing environment where individuals can thrive and enrich life.

Our journey is defined by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of those we serve. As we continue to adapt to meet the changing needs of our community, our passion remains steadfast – to provide unparalleled care and support to every individual who walks through our doors.

Yasmine Roulhac

Office & Activities Director

Yasmine Roulhac, the Office and Activities Director at Agape Day Living, brings a wealth of experience to her role. With over 17 years of expertise in personal care home office administration, she ensures the smooth functioning of administrative tasks with precision and efficiency. Her background in the restaurant industry has equipped her with leadership skills and a keen understanding of customer service. In her role, she leads efforts in aiding office administration tasks, coordinates engaging activities for day residents, and ensures that all services are delivered seamlessly, fostering a vibrant and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

Susan Hendley

Senior Caregiver

Susan Hendley, the Lead Caregiver at Agape Day Living, brings over 15 years of dedicated experience in elder care to her role. Known for her exceptional customer service skills and innate ability to connect with residents and families, she ensures a warm and supportive environment. In her leadership capacity, Susan serves as the primary overseer of care for day residents, providing daily medical and emotional support to all clients. She also ensures that all clients have access to the necessary services at Agape Day Living, fostering a holistic approach to care that prioritizes the well-being of each individual.

Antonietta Williams

Facility Chef

Antonietta Williams (aka Nitta), the Lead Cook at Agape Day Living, possesses over 5 years of expertise in kitchen management and meal preparation for a sizable number of residents. Equipped with her Safe Serve Certification, she possesses a profound understanding of the dietary requirements specific to the elderly community. Her commitment lies in ensuring that each individual receives the essential nutrients for their well-being, meticulously adhering to the guidelines prescribed by their physicians. Nitta's passion lies in crafting meals that are not only visually appealing and nutritionally balanced but also comforting to the soul.

Elmira Roulhac

Owner, Administrator, & Registered Nurse

Elmira Roulhac brings over three decades of nursing experience to her role as the owner, lead administrator, and on-site registered nurse at Agape Day Living. With more than 17 years of experience owning and operating a personal care home dedicated to serving the elderly in her community, Elmira is deeply committed to providing compassionate and quality care. Her expertise in adult healthcare living spans over 35 years, making her a highly knowledgeable and capable leader in the field. As the overall Chief Operating Officer, Elmira ensures that Agape Day Living operates smoothly and efficiently, prioritizing the well-being and comfort of all residents under her care.

Robert Roulhac Sr

Facilities & Technical Support

Agape Day Living boasts an exceptional facilities maintenance and technical support leader. With over 22 years of military service and telecommunications, Robert brings a deep understanding of complex systems and infrastructure. Additionally, his 20 years of experience in maintenance and mechanical support ensure that the facility operates smoothly and efficiently. Robert's expertise extends to IT technical implementation and support, with a decade of dedicated service in this field, ensuring that Agape Day Living remains at the forefront of technological innovation to better serve its residents and staff.
